- The Urban Worms is a small business that uses real local, green waste to feed our worms to reduce our local carbon footprint. Our specialty is small quantity fulfillment of local worms, Black Gold and Frass. Our goal is to educate everyone on the wonders of the worm and to reduce the amount of space that average household uses to store chemical fertilizers. We know fresher is better.
Composting worms are top soil dwellers that help breakdown green waste. The green waste can be naturally occurring like leaf litter or intentionally buried during compost.
Red Wigglers are the most preferred due to their ease to maintain and range of temperature they can survive.
